Only two paintings by this excellent artist are known, which belonged to the collection of Princess Maria Gabriella of Savoy and recently passed through a Swiss auction, virtually identical to these, with the same frames and the same canvas stretcher, but depicting different views. In fact, considering the qualitative level of his few known works, it is likely that his production is circulating under other names, as they are identical in finesse to the magnificent masterpieces of Guardi. What remains certain, in addition to the rarity, is the descriptive perfection of these two small tests of skill, where monuments, characters and boats are executed with a pictorial ability difficult to find in similar works.
