Fontana Plasterer La Vierge A La Chaise Early 1900s delightful devotional oval picture with black ebonized frame containing a stucco maternity signed at the bottom right by the plasterer Fontana (on the side two symbols, a reversed three and a five not understandable) and below the words La Vierge à la Chaise in reference to the model of Raphael's Madonna della Seggiola. Some signs of woodworm (sanitized) on the frame which lacks the original glass that had to be domed. In good condition, France early 1900s. Height: 40 cm. - Width: 33 cm. - Depth: 5 cm art. A1070
