The magnificent Lagoon City offers us one of its most fascinating views, always able to arouse wonder and amazement and to involve the viewer who has already visited it or who only wishes to do so.
The author of the work is Luigi Lanza, (Venice 1860-1913) a valid landscape painter and a great creator of perspective views, especially in Venice, between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
The canvas shows a remarkable descriptive ability with a very effective impressionistic vein, and a particular knowledge of the characteristics of his city, which he manages to grasp in an excellent way.
