Follini Carlo (Domodossola, 1848 - Pegli, 1938)
He was a student of Fontanesi at the Albertina Academy. He was a very successful landscape painter who exhibited in Italy and abroad. He studied accounting in Turin, but at the age of 24, he chose to study painting at the Albertina Academy, then under the guidance of Antonio Fontanesi. He is said to have been one of Fontanesi's most valued students, for his sprezzatura and for the strength and energy of his color in his studies from nature.
