Item Description
Louis XIV walnut chair. Four crafted legs with a series of different facets, united by shaped crossbars with flowing lines, the central one having a particularly elaborate design. The seat, upholstered, is square in shape. The backrest extends from the rear of the seat, slightly inclined backward, also upholstered with a vertical development accentuated by horizontal uprights which, with opposing curvature, refine its shape. The flowing lines, the elaborate surface work, but the still strong presence of important proportions and austere forms, place the stylistic of this furniture still in the early 18th century. An important piece of furniture but with exquisite proportions and graceful shapes.
