Pair of Casteldurante albarellos from the mid-16th century

Beautiful pair of pharmacy jars produced in the workshops of Casteldurante potters in the mid-16th century, active in present-day Urbania. The ivory-white enamel vases are of very high quality and are decorated with splendid cartouches in vibrant blue, orange and green colors, reproducing the words "Lamino" and "Garofani". The pharmacy jars vary slightly in size; one is 23 cm high and 12 cm in diameter at the upper opening, the other is 22 cm and the opening is 13 cm wide. A certificate of authenticity is attached to the sale.
