Alessandro Biffignandi

Description: Delightful oil painting on canvas (cm.90x90): it is titled The Adornment and depicts a young woman looking in a mirror. Made in 1977 by the Italian painter Alessandro Biffignandi (Rome 1935/2017), master of illustration. One of the most significant illustrators of the second half of the 20th century, Alessandro Biffignandi worked with various magazines including La Domenica del Corriere. He also worked, from the early 70s, with the publisher Barbieri becoming one of the most appreciated sexy comic book cover artists in the world. The work is framed, signed in the upper right. It is in excellent condition.
