Zatta Antonio Map of Bari and Basilicata Venice 1783 geographical map taken from the work of the publisher Antonio Zatta, Atlante novissimo, illustrated and enlarged on the observations and discoveries made by the most famous and most recent geographers. Edited in Venice between 1775 and 1785, etched in aquaforte and burin. The tables were mainly designed by Giovanni Pitteri and engraved by Giuliano Zuliani with beautiful original coloring. Within the cartouche with boat and garlands of leaves the words Map of Bari and Basilicata taken from the cards of Mr. Rizzi Zannoni Venice 1783 by Antonio Zatta with Privil. of the Ecc. Senate. The map clearly marks the inhabited area and the watercourses. The sheet has a vertical fold and is in good condition and is supplied within a modern frame.
