Walnut chest with gilded decorations, 16th century

Elegant and unique, this small-to-medium sized chest is made of solid, carved and turned walnut wood. The lower part of the top is adorned with refined gold leaf decoration, which is also repeated on the panels, adding a touch of great elegance. Furthermore, the panels feature exquisite geometric decorations made with a burin, complete with faux inlays in the panels and paintings in the lively colours of red and blue, inspired by precious stones. This chest, of fine workmanship and class, is capable of enriching any environment with sophistication and style. Tuscan-Umbrian manufacture of the 16th century.
