Small and delightful pair of half busts (cm.7; h.15) made of kaolin in the late 19th century. Placed on black bases (cm.5x5; h.1) also made of kaolin, they represent Victor Hugo (Besançon 1802/Paris 1885) and Alphonse Lamartine (Mâcon 1790/Paris 1869), both French poets, writers, playwrights and politicians.
