Description: French Charles X chest of drawers in mahogany feather with white statuary marble top. The front is punctuated by three drawers and a smaller sub-top drawer adorned with finely chiseled gilt bronze escutcheons and handles. The sub-top drawer is highlighted by the internal writing desk with a series of drawers and compartments. The mixtilinear base is highlighted by a finely chiseled gilt bronze trim and rests on rocaille feet with bronze inserts. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with the traditional shellac and alcohol handmade method. Origin: France early 19th century. Measurements: 113x56 H98cm.
