Code: C176
Measurements: H. 52 cm – L. 125 cm – D. 60cm
Period: 1822
Origin: Tyrol
Wood Species: Fir
Description:
Tyrolean chest, painted in teal color.
The front features the classic division of space into three main panels, two in brick red and one in ocher-brown, containing floral decorations. In the upper part of the panels, there are pleasant carved and fretted motifs, in the shape of tassels and drapes, which embellish the entire structure. The sides are also decorated with floral motifs, while the top retains only some traces of the original painting. The chest was also used as a seat, which explains the absence of decorations on the top. Original lock present but not functioning.
Furniture partially restored.
