The painter Giuseppe Casciaro, of Apulian origins, painter and professor at the Institute of Fine Arts in Naples where he trained, was essentially a landscape painter and produced in particular views of the surroundings of Naples, Irpinia (Nusco) and Puglia. He preferred the pictorial technique of pastel, in which he excelled. Here is proposed the glimpse of a Mediterranean countryside, crossed by a path with travelers. It is presented in a period-style frame.
