Beautiful plaque in sculpted white marble, depicting a noblewoman with elegant hairstyle typical of the 14th century and inside a trilobate arch, supported by twisted columns. The plaque is attributable to Alceo Dossena, a famous artist active between the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the reproduction of copies and specimens of medieval and Renaissance taste. The artist in fact deceived international museums for his sculptural quality, clearly visible also for this plaque. The object is attributable to around the end of the 19th century, among the first works of Dossena, when the artist begins his career reproducing works of 14th-century taste. The back of the plaque is also bush-hammered in order to be able to fix the object to the wall.
