Gilt bronze sculpture depicting Mars with helmet and shield (right hand missing).
Attributed to Niccolò Roccatagliata (inside the pedestal there is an old tag from an antique dealer), one of the main bronze sculptors of the Venetian Renaissance between the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
