Rare Kilim, Sarkoy flatweave from Western Anatolia from the late 1800s, with archaic nomadic symbolism and strictly vegetable dyes. This piece, which is decorated vertically with repeated stylized zoomorphic motifs, is animated by hooked silhouettes of bird's heads.
