Refined and rare game table of Viennese classicism. Austria 1770 approx. It is a complete work, masterfully veneered and inlaid in a figurative way with exotic and fruit woods (rosewood, most likely of the Nectranda Mollis and Piptadenia Svaveolens qualities), plum, ebony, maple root, etc. The figurative inlay with vase and festoon motifs, typical of the period, is enriched with details worked in pyrography and lampblack. The top measures 96 x 70 cm, height 77 cm. The work has undergone conservative restoration according to the rules of art, consisting of an exclusive "refreshment of the French polish with shellac on the original patina using museum standard techniques", resulting in a warm and vibrant honey-amber color. In the sides, there are 4 small drawers for chips and/or playing cards.
