The Madonna holds the Baby Jesus in her arms, flanked by the young Saint John the Baptist, who observes the scene with devotion.
The relief is made with great attention to detail, highlighting the expressions and clothing of the subjects, probably made through a minting process that allowed to obtain the subtle details and visible nuances.
The plaque is mounted on a sturdy wooden panel covered in burgundy velvet, which adds a touch of luxury and creates an elegant contrast with the silver. The back of the panel is finished in moiré fabric.
