Replica of the famous painting by Marcantonio Franceschini, the original of which is in the Marco Galliani collection and is published by Miller along with its pendant in the artist's monograph from 2001. (See photo A) Oil painting on canvas, the painting has been cleaned and relined. Executed by the artist with excellent and remarkable ability both in drawing and in brushwork, a pictorial quality that has well supported the excessive pressure of cleaning and relining.
