Vintage shield-shaped wall mirror, antique mirror

Description: Sumptuous shield-shaped wall mirror, giving a majestic and regal appearance. The frame is made of gilded gesso wood, a technique that enhances the brilliance and elegance of the piece. Dating back to the mid-last century, it features a design reminiscent of classic and baroque styles. The frame is richly decorated with foliate motifs that extend all along the perimeter. At the top, a central crest accentuates the symmetry and majesty of the mirror. The mirror has some missing gilding and lesions on the frame (see photos).
