Important early 18th-century Bergamasco chest of drawers in walnut wood with perfect patina. The front of the furniture has three drawers, each of which is punctuated by three reserves carved into the solid wood, threaded with fruit wood and veneered in walnut burl and threaded in boxwood. Framing everything are two beautiful pilasters carved in solid wood with cherub heads emerging from plant racemes.
Original bronze knobs from the period, as well as the internal locks of the drawers. The vents were made horizontally without hardware so as not to disturb the aesthetics of the furniture.
To underline the quality of the furniture, there are corbel feet with a burl reserve to recall the motif of the drawers and an engraved curl.
Sides punctuated by a beautiful set of frames.
Top made in two axes, original back and bottoms of the drawers.
Truly a piece of furniture of remarkable value and quality!!!
