Saint Sebastian, O/T, cm 100x125, including the frame. Copy of the painting by Jusepe de Ribera, executed by Licia Saracini, born in Rome in 1912, lived in Naples. She attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples with Carlo Siviero, and obtained a teaching qualification diploma. She participated in the first artistic competitions from 1933 and since then has not failed to be present at all major Italian exhibitions. She has organized various personal exhibitions in different cities of Italy and has obtained several awards, including the San Remo award. The Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Milan preserves "Self-portrait" (from A.M. Comanducci ediz. 1964) She participated with this painting in the XXII International Art Biennale Exhibition - Venice - 1940, as reported in the label affixed behind the painting.
