Parade plate
German manufacture from the late 18th to early 19th century.
Silver-plated copper, embossed and chiseled.
Measurements: diameter 45 cm, weight 1.395 kg.
The umbo depicts a scene in which two women drag a third, a man chases them. The cavetto is embossed in a radial pattern. The brim depicts four scenes illustrating the central event, divided by four reserves adorned with tree trunks. The edge is shaped.
The decorative impact is remarkable. It has a small hole at the top of the brim to allow it to be hung on the wall. Discreet state of conservation with wear in the raised parts of the silver plating, without any breakage.
