- PONGA GIUSEPPE Chioggia (Venice) 1856 - Venice 1925. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and, in his vast work in the fields of mural and easel painting, miniature and watercolor, he followed the manner and themes of the eighteenth-century models of GB Tiepolo and F. Guardi. He received prestigious commissions, such as the decorations for the Parliament building in Budapest, the souvenir pavilion at the Rome Exposition of 1910, and some rooms of the Royal Palace in Venice. There are also ten neo-18th century panels that decorate the Caffè Quadri, also in Venice.
