"Soffreh" tablecloth of the GASHGAI nomads - n. 1104 - my private collection -

Rare example of a tablecloth from nomads in south-central Iran from the Shah Pahlavi period. The sober, almost severe, appearance of the colors highlights the two lateral bands with their refined craftsmanship. It was part of a nomadic bride's dowry. Robust and pleasing artefact.
