Lombard walnut chest, measuring 70 x 130 x 56 cm, from the second half of the 17th century.
A very particular chest with sides and feet carved in solid walnut and inlaid centrally with a unique and well-finished decoration.
The base of the chest rests on carved arched front feet, featuring absolutely sui generis dimensions with a carved and inlaid decoration that creates a strong chiaroscuro relief.
The front is divided into a single solid walnut area where an inlay appears in the center with various light woods that develop horizontally in the central part, while vertically on the sides.
The projection of the hinged top is underlined by a toothed band that continues on the sides while the rest of the cabinet is always constructed with solid walnut.
