Porcelain plates with a shaped edge and body moved by four series of undulating and parallel ribs which depart from the basin towards the rim, decorated in relief with the mat motif, a model in use in Meissen since 1735.
The polychrome pictorial decoration is of the "Floral Clumps" type for use in Germany, in this case with four floral compositions arranged on the rim alternatively to the ribs and a fifth in a central position.
The flowers painted in a naturalistic way, including the rose, are of the European type and collected in small bunches; hence the more well-known name of the decoration today: "Al Mazzetto" (With the Bouquet).
