A cute black and white rabbit enlivens the scene of one composition.
The works are of beautiful size, painted on oval canvases and present all the stylistic characteristics of the Neapolitan painter Francesco Lavagna (Naples 1684-1724), specialized in the production of flower still lifes, often set outdoors.
He was a pupil of Andrea Belvedere, from whom he drew luminous chromatism and compositional technique.
They are presented in excellent condition, still on their original canvas on the original frame.
The lacquered frames with gilded profiles are also original.
