Particular and highly effective painting by the Austrian painter Rolf Bakalla, born in Vienna in 1877. The painting depicts the Sass Maor with the little lake of Pradidali. A peak that is part of the Pale di S. Martino in the Belluno Dolomites. Signature and writing on the back (Palagruppe). Oil on plywood 71 x 80 cm. Frame 88 x 98 cm. Work probably created in the 1930s. Highly effective painting, beautiful light, well kept.
