Round "Canard" ashtray in pressed and molded white glass, made in two parts hot-glued together, signed on the base "R. Lalique France" and the catalog number n. 283.
Approximately 7.5 cm high and with a diameter of approximately 12 cm, the model was created on April 11, 1925.
Present in the catalogs of Ren René Lalique's glass production of 1928 and 1932, it was suppressed in the 1937 catalog and not resumed after 1947, when the founder's son, Marco Lalique (1900 - 1977) did not reopen the factory after the Second World War.
The model is also published, on page 270, of the famous reasoned catalog of all of Ren René Lalique's glass production, by Félix Marcilhac.
