Valuable vintage ceramic toy tea set by Wegwood of Etruria & Barlaston, made in England between 1970 and 1990 and dedicated to Peter Rabbit, the famous character created by the British writer, illustrator, and naturalist Beatrix Potter (1866-1943), one of the most read and loved children's literature writers in the world, with her 24 stories, translated into 35 languages and sold in millions of copies.
It consists of 10 pieces: teapot (approx. 10x15 cm), milk jug (approx. 6x8 cm), English-style sugar bowl (without lid, 3.6x8 cm), two cups (4.2x6.7), two saucers (8.4 cm diameter), two dessert plates (11 cm diameter), rectangular tray with handles (29x13 cm).
Very rare due to the presence of the tray, it is in excellent condition.
