Very rare evening bag from around the 20s-30s of the 20th century, with a handle, in silk moire, pearl gray on the outside, with cobalt blue leather profiles.
The interior, lined in ivory-colored silk moire, in addition to a small coin pocket, contains, in the various compartments, a mercury mirror (approximately 12x11 cm), with beveled edges and doubled again in ivory-colored silk moire, a powder compact (approximately 3.5 cm in diameter), in two-tone mother-of-pearl (white and gray) with gilded metal, a lipstick holder (approximately 5.5 cm) in two-tone mother-of-pearl and gilded metal, with cap and working pressure mechanism, a perfume bottle (approximately 5.5 cm) in two-tone mother-of-pearl and gilded metal, with cap and internal transparent crystal stopper with dispenser, and a pair of theatre binoculars (approximately 8.5 x 5.3 cm) in gilded metal and two-tone mother-of-pearl, perfectly functioning, with the brand of the optician who produced it, Silvio Barello, at Via Torino, 27 in Milan (still existing).
The gusset bag is in fair condition and measures approximately 16x5 by 13.5 cm.
