Oil on canvas from the first half of the 18th century depicting a river landscape and figures. Probably from the Veneto or Marche region. Painting characterized by rapid graphic style, lively imagination, and a limited chromatic range, but with an effective luminescent resolution. The painting has never been relined, is in excellent condition, and is mounted on a beautiful gilded frame from the period. The canvas measures 80 x 50 cm, the sections of the frame measure approximately 7 cm. The sale is accompanied by a guarantee of authenticity.
