Old DAGHESTAN Kilim - No. 529 -

Unusual colors for this Daghestan Kilim, from the Caucasus, known for its good workmanship: perhaps the weaver was looking for a certain color tone, or made a mistake in dyeing and created a truly unusual specimen, certainly not monotonous. Some scholars say that sometimes the "abrash" is created specifically to make the carpet more interesting. This Kilim also has an interesting price because I would like to close the business.
