Scuola Fiamminga

Painting, oil on canvas, measuring 55 x 35 cm without frame and 66 x 46 cm with a non-coeval frame, signed indistinctly in the lower left, of Flemish school. The main characteristics of this work are the airy breadth of the panorama and the sense of diffuse luminosity that recall the best Flemish masters of the past, but with a slight neoclassical touch. The episodes have no precise meaning. They are almost always pastimes so dear in that period, with the usual characters walking, skating, skiing on the frozen lake. The landscape motif, even in its most imaginative flares, always has a real inspiration in Flemish painting and therefore a truthful and human dimension; in this painting we can notice how beautiful, strong, vigorous but at the same time sweet and docile is the nature that surrounds us and in which we lose ourselves. The paintings and art objects published here are my exclusive property and consequently are always available to be viewed in person, by appointment, in my exhibition locations located in Sanremo and Brescia. The work, like all our objects, is sold accompanied by a FIMA photographic certificate of authenticity and lawful origin; this document identifies the object, adding value to the item.
