Old GABBEH rug - no. 953 -

Rug with a naive style because it was made by nomads from central-southern Iran. The wool was spun by hand and dyed with vegetable substances, collected from materials in the area. The color shades prove it. The design is simple and pleasant, with white flowers scattered throughout the field. The finish is made with simple selvedges. The rug is robust. The price is also excellent. Measurements: cm. 172 x 125.
