This refined pair of sconces was made in France in the 19th century from chiseled and gilded bronze. The quality and design, which is particularly rare and unusual, is inspired by the Louis XIV and Louis XV styles. The central body of each sconce has an ornament with phytomorphic motifs from which projects an element composed of rich acanthus leaves. From this is inserted the figure of a winged putto in half bust which supports three candle holder arms. Each arm is decorated with leafy elements. Particular is the presence of different bobeches that animate the compositional structure: the two lateral ones have an ornament with geometric designs, while the central one has a reserve with motifs of small spheres. The two sconces, specular to each other, are distinguished by a high quality chisel and an elegant scenic and decorative presence. They are suitable next to antique and modern furnishings and thanks to the brilliance of the gilding will bring a refined presence to any environment you want to enter.
