Gothic chest with coats of arms, Piedmont, 15th Century

Rare Gothic marriage chest, from the early 1400s, in walnut wood, with panels carved with single-light and double-light windows and panels decorated with lean tempera, with unions of coats of arms of noble families, supported by winged dragons and dogs. One surmounted by a unicorn, the other by a castle. Excellent state of preservation. Era: early 1400s Provenance: Piedmont Dimensions: 121 x 55cm height 62cm
