The elegant spiral volutes, carved with typically sixteenth-century vegetal and floral motifs, cover the entire facade. They are enclosed by an elegant ribbon frame in a classic style. Also noteworthy is the carving of the base supported by graceful butterfly corbels. The contained dimensions, the rich but extremely refined decoration, and the extraordinary patina all contribute to making it a piece of furniture of exceptional beauty and great rarity.
