Filippo Lauri (Rome, 1623 - 1694).
He studied with his father Balthasar Lawers, a Flemish landscape painter (Italianized to Lauri), with his older brother, Francesco Lauri, and later with Angelo Caroselli.
In 1654, Lauri became a member of the Academy of Saint Luke in Rome.
Among other works and commissions, between 1656 and 1657, Lauri participated in the decoration of the Gallery of Alexander VII in the Quirinal Palace.
