Rare Tyrolean miniature chest (SOLD)

A very rare miniature model of a Tyrolean chest from the first half of the 18th century, entirely painted. It is a splendid example of the finest South Tyrol manufacture. The front features an architectural arrangement with two arches with fluted columns and capitals. The chest houses a series of small drawers and secret drawers inside. Beautiful chiseled hinges and lock with crab closure complete with the original key. Extraordinary state of preservation without any missing parts and without restorations or repainting.
