Scuola Francese

Pair of paintings, oil on panel, measuring 25 x 20 cm without frame and 35 x 30 cm with frame, depicting allegories of the French school from the late 17th - early 18th century. The paintings in question exhibit a luministic momentum of brilliant skill, to which we add a truly meticulous precision in portraying the characters and the multitude of ornamental objects, also due to a breadth of mixtures and a perspicuity of definition which are all typical prerogatives of the great French painting that has a wonderful strand in the 17th century. The composition is very versatile and intelligently calibrated in colors, especially in those continuous contrasts between the very light and slightly darker parts, where the extraordinary polyhedral nature of the panels is evident, which shows itself faster, more colorful and more ethereal with a truly sublime coloristic force. The paintings and art objects published here are my exclusive property and consequently are always available to be viewed in person, by appointment, at my exhibition venues located in Sanremo and Brescia. The work, like all our objects, is sold accompanied by a FIMA photographic certificate of authenticity and lawful provenance; this document identifies the object, adding value to the article.
