The drawing is placed in a frame between two panes of glass.
Son-in-law of Loverini Ponziano, he was his student at the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo and later studied at the Scuola Libera del Mondo in Rome. He was a sculptor and draughtsman. He exhibited at the First and Second Trade Union Exhibition in Milan, at the International Exhibition of Sacred Art in Milan in 1921 and at the Permanente in 1931. He was mainly inspired by the poetry of motherhood, with evocative "red chalk" and black and white.
