Rare Bohemian spa mug from the Biedermeier period, in transparent crystal, ground and tinted pink by fusion, with intense brilliance (a type called Weinglas - rozalinové sklo). Northern Bohemia, city of Neuwelt - Steinschonau, now Novy Svét, Sudeten range. 1830, probably the workshop of Friedrich Egermann. Height 12.5 cm, width 7 cm. Finely wheel-ground on all sides, depicting the main thermal springs of Karlsbad, now Karlovivary, a well-known spa town in Bohemia. The mug is signed: Karl Liebr in Karlsbad.
