Luciano Bonacini
(Verona, 1908 – Milan, 1981)
Luciano Bonacini was born in Verona in 1908 and was an advertising designer. Early in his career he was particularly drawn to the Futurists and the style of Leonetto Cappiello, whose effective graphic lesson can also be grasped in the calendars he created for Barilla in 1934 and 1935, both printed – like much of his production – by Tipografia Gros Monti in Turin.
Bonacini died in Milan in 1981.
