Sterling silver (925‰) table basket: the shaped oval body, supported by an oval and pierced (sawn) base with geometric motifs, is defined peripherally by a grooved molding edge with a broken line pattern; the underlying band consists of two series of ornamental motifs respectively represented: one by stylized palmettes alternating with an openwork (punched) design, the other by foliate palmettes alternating with stylized flowers; the smooth bottom features a central engraved monogram. The grooved handle is hinged to the two oblong sides of the body.
