Detailed and heartfelt painting by the Austrian painter Raphael Thaler (1870 - 1947). The painting is animated by a flock of sheep with its shepherd, in the back we see the last rays of sun hitting the glacier (also writing the locality, `Alpeiner Ferner) in the Stubai valley where the painter was also born and lived. Beautiful composition, work made around 1900, we still see a touch of romanticism. Work signed in the lower right. New frame adapted to the painting.
