Beautiful Kurdish gallery rug, all hand-embroidered on a wool warp and weft base, made on a manual loom. Very interesting. One senses the true nomadic spirit and the sensitivity of the person who wove it. It is truly a unique piece. (After all, I have always looked for unique pieces for my carpet collection). Suitable in any part of the house, but I recommend not in a high-traffic area; better in a bedroom or in front of a bookcase in a study, or why not? hung as decoration.
A clarification: I have no longer purchased Persian carpets woven after the Islamic revolution.
