A very particular white runner: entirely in the natural color of the wool, with small longitudinal blue stripes (the blue of indigo root!). The only decoration: multicolored wool tassels. It is composed of two strips joined together; the nomads do not have a real wooden loom: they plant stakes in the ground and weave their carpets little by little. When they have to move to other pastures, they roll up the already woven piece and finish it elsewhere. When finished, they will join the strips.
In 50 years of working in this field, I have not seen a similar carpet, except for the Gashgai kilim published (ref. 277415).
