Oil on canvas. Central European school. Monogram No.S. and inventory numbers are present on the back. The painting is reminiscent of works from the Austrian area. It depicts a battle between knights, dominated in the foreground by the clash between two of them. The painting comes from a historic Lombard collection. Still in its first canvas and original frame; patches and signs of old restorations are present on the back, and it has also undergone further pictorial and repair restoration at our laboratory.
